In 1994, our founders, Mark Robilliard and Dee Parisi, bought their first property together. Since then they have bought and sold a number of "robisi" properties in Melbourne, Sydney and the Sunshine Coast. Some of these were single dwellings, some were in community title schemes and some were rented to others. As tenants, they’ve leased both residential and commercial properties. They know business and they know real estate.
Their experience over the years with various body corporate managers has been mostly underwhelming. Excessive and poorly justified levies, woeful corporate governance, ineffective communication, taking sides, laziness and self-interest were some of the poor behaviours experienced.
Mark and Deidre are Chartered Accountants (Fellows) and both have had significant business and audit compliance experience with small, medium and major clients, including the operation of trust accounts and 'agency/consulting' style businesses.
They know what is required to manage and maintain assets and build community.
Having always been interested in the business of real estate the thought arose, "One day, we should do this body corporate management thing properly..." and here we are.
