We stand ready to support you...
When I graduated from university as a reluctant accountant in 1978, I didn't know how beneficial those skills would become in my life.
I have been fortunate to work in Australia, Africa, Europe, Asia, New Zealand, UK, Canada and the US.
This has included public practice with KPMG and others (consulting, accounting, audit and tax), commerce (CEO, CFO, GM, facilitation, leadership and education, and HR), tertiary education (accounting tutor and lecturer) and self-employed (consulting, facilitation, authorship and finance training).
Along the way I completed a number of specialist courses and workshops in client acquisition, sales, story-telling, public speaking, leadership, negotiation and professional development. Of these, by far the most memorable, and impactful, was completing Master Practitioner Level in Neuro-Linguistic Programming as it was a massive reframe of everything I thought I knew about communication and learning.
My focus these days is project-based specialist facilitation and business consulting. Essentially, if a project looks interesting, and I think I can add value from being involved, I'll consider it.
And I have a rag-tag gang of subject-matter experts scattered around that I can call on for assistance, or to lead, if required.
But most days, you'll find me driving a shuttle bus at a local backpackers talking with people from all walks of life...
